Top Wells Fargo retail banking exec Lisa Stevens to leave
One of Wells Fargo & Co.’s top retail bank executives is leaving.
Lisa Stevens, who leads the retail bank’s Western region, will exit from Wells Fargo WFC, -0.59% later this month, spokeswoman Jennifer Langan said. Her departure was announced on an internal call Monday morning, according to people familiar with the matter.
Langan said Stevens made the decision to leave. Stevens referred questions about her departure to Langan.
Stevens was a top lieutenant to Carrie Tolstedt, who led Wells Fargo’s scandal-plagued retail bank for many years. At one point, Stevens ran retail banking for about a third of the U.S. and small-business banking for Wells Fargo.
