Sky News anchor Kimberley Leonard tweeted: “Downing Street sources telling @SkyNews that Parliament is to be recalled next week to discuss Afghanistan.”

Both the SNP’s Westminster leader Ian Blackford and Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer are urging an early recall of Parliament.
