Pro-Palestine mob hits out at Braverman – vows to unleash Remembrance Day chaos
Suella Braverman has come under fire from the pro-Palestine mob vowing to unleash Remembrance Day chaos on the streets of London.
Ahead of the UK’s national day of remembrance on November 11, there has been a lot of uncertainty over pro-Palestine protests.
What’s more, there are also concerns about how the police will react to protesters attending Remembrance Day.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, a spokesperson for the Free Palestine Coalition (FPC) said Ms Braverman was emboldening the police.
The comments come just days after protesters and police clashed violently in Central London over the weekend.

A spokesperson for the FPC claimed that there was a precedent for police behaving aggressively towards protesters.
They said: “Anyone who has attended a protest knows that the police use them as an excuse to throw their weight around – like at the Sarah Everard memorial in 2021 – and the anti-Palestinian position of the government is only emboldening them.
“In the last few weeks, we’ve seen police acting aggressively and arresting people for things as insignificant as swear words on signs.”
The spokesperson added that despite the arrests, the majority of protesters had been non-violent and claimed it was the police who were escalating the violence.
They explained: “From Glasgow to London demonstrations have been overwhelmingly peaceful in solidarity with the people of Palestine, and it is the police escalating violence and targeting predominantly Black and brown youth.
“To see calls for Ceasefire Now and an end to genocide be met with violence is disturbing.”
One of the greatest concerns about the November 11 protests is that the Cenotaph will be targeted.
Speaking to Sky, Ms Braverman said any protesters who vandalise the Cenotaph should be jailed.

Ms Braverman explained: “Armistice Day is a day that is of profound national significance in Britain, it represents our moment of collective mourning and remembrance and reverence.
“It must be treated with the solemnity with which it deserves. If anyone were to vandalise the Cenotaph, they must be put into a jail cell faster than their feet can touch the ground.”
Ms Braverman’s comments have been echoed by Colonel Tim Collins who said anyone who desecrated a war memorial should be deported.
He said: “People who misbehave should face the consequences of the law. So for people who are here in the country with permission to stay, that should be withdrawn because they’re not behaving in an appropriate way.”
