White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci tells \u2018Fox News Sunday\u2019 Americans need to continue to \u2018keep guard up\u2019 and not be \u2018complacent\u2019 during the coronavirus pandemic. <\/p>\n
President Biden on Monday night paid tribute to the staggering number of Americans who have lost a loved one during the coronavirus pandemic as the death toll passed 500,000.<\/p>\n
Biden called the milestone “truly grim” and “heartbreaking” as he noted the pandemic has taken more American lives than WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War combined.<\/p>\n
“That\u2019s more lives lost to this virus than any other nation on Earth,” Biden said.<\/p>\n
At least 500,071 people had died of the virus at the time of his remarks.<\/p>\n
