France’s medical regulator approved the resumed use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine today after its use was temporarily suspended following concerns over reports of blood clotting earlier this week.<\/p>\n

However, they said the jab should only be given to people aged 55 and older after signs that the blood-clotting affected younger people mostly.<\/p>\n

The latest move comes despite the EU’s drug watchdog, the European Medicines Agency, yesterday saying the vaccine was safe and should continue to be used.<\/p>\n
