Trump\u2019s highly effective, albeit-tumultuous, presidency. Two months into the Biden Era, voters should feel betrayed. Nothing comes close to normal.<\/p>\n
\u2022Start with the catastrophe on the U.S.-Mexico border. Through words and deeds, Biden has created a man-made disaster area.<\/p>\n
Journalist Savannah Guthrie instructed each of the 10 candidates on stage at NBC News\u2019 June 27, 2019 Democratic primary debate: “Raise your hand if your healthcare plan would include coverage for undocumented immigrants.” As millions noticed between Tijuana and Tegucigalpa, up went Biden\u2019s hand, and those of his nine rivals. “It\u2019s the humane thing to do,” Biden explained. The Washington Post confirmed Biden\u2019s cornucopianism on this question.<\/p>\n

He soon scrapped Trump\u2019s anti-caravan pacts with El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. He then unveiled an eight-year path to citizenship for illegals.<\/p>\n These policies screamed, “\u00a1Ven y c\u00f3gelo!”<\/em> \u2014 “Come and get it!”<\/p>\n Biden personally engineered a humanitarian, medical, and national-security disaster.<\/p>\n Last month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered 100,441 illegal aliens on the southern frontier, up 97 percent, year on year. As of March 18, Biden had 14,000 unaccompanied minors in custody versus 3,200 the previous week \u2014 up 437.5 percent.<\/p>\n A deportee captured breaking back into America near El Paso found all of this hilarious. Fox News\u2019 Griff Jenkins asked the young man if people like him would keep coming across the border. “It\u2019s not going to stop, ever,” he laughed Thursday night. “It\u2019s not going to stop.” <\/p>\n A recent op-ed by Family Research Council President Tony Perkins summarized things perfectly \u2014 “Biden: No More Mr. ICE Guy.”<\/p>\n Biden is releasing COVID-19-positive illegals into America and leaving thousands more untested. House Democrats on Wednesday sank Iowa Republican Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks\u2019 bill to require illegals to test COVID-19-negative before entering the USA.<\/p>\n Team Biden has capsized Team Trump\u2019s transparency. It has gagged Border Patrol agents and sandbagged journalists who try to document the pandemonium in Biden-Harris\u2019 child-clogged detention facilities or “reception centers,” as they might rebrand them. Why not call them concierge desks?<\/p>\n Amplifying their border-calamity cover-up, Team Biden padlocked an ICE Twitter account that tracked illegal-alien criminals. Citing “privacy and COVID-19 precautions,” Homeland Security prohibited journalists from Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas\u2019 border visit Friday.<\/p>\n Privacy? Border crossings and federal detention centers are public property.<\/p>\n As for COVID, even at 2020\u2019s pandemic nadir, Trump let journalists cover the border and nearby government facilities \u2014 whereupon they usually clobbered him.<\/p>\n “I respectfully ask US Customs and Border Protection to stop blocking media access to their border operations. I have photographed CBP under Bush, Obama and Trump but now – zero access is granted to media,” Getty Images photojournalist John Moore complained via Twitter on March 19. “There\u2019s no modern precedent for a full physical ban on media access to CBP border operations.”<\/p>\n JEN PSAKI DODGES QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER BIDEN SAW DOCTOR AFTER FALL <\/strong><\/p>\n Moore stated the next day: “The photographs in this tweet string were taken with a telephoto lens from across the border in Mexico. How many others slipped through?<\/p>\n \u2022While the border resembles a house with a wide-open garage door, the U.S. Capitol echoes East Berlin. A huge fence, topped with concertina wire, has surrounded America\u2019s legislature since January 6\u2019s deadly riot. Absent any discernable threat, National Guard chief General Daniel R. Hokanson tried to withdraw 2,280 troops deployed on Capitol Hill.<\/p>\n However, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin overruled Hokanson and ordered these guardsmen to stay until May 23. Team Biden now owns this military occupation against nothing in particular.<\/p>\n \u2022Unlike Trump\u2019s five, bipartisan coronavirus relief bills, Biden\u2019s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan passed Congress with only Democratic lawmakers’ votes. Atop other outrages, this spend-o-rama provides $1,400 stimulus checks to federal and state inmates. Senators Bill Cassidy, R-La., Ted Cruz, R-Texas and Tom Cotton, R-Ark. offered an amendment to bar such payments to “Son of Sam” David Berkowitz, Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokar Tsarnaev, Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, and thousands of other killers and criminals. Inmates cannot stimulate the economy. But, under this bill they receive stimulus checks. This is a perfect example of nontargeted, inappropriate, and total waste of spending. It\u2019s ridiculous that this is in the bill.”<\/p>\n \u2022The White House announced that it would re-open America\u2019s K-12 classrooms. Overpromising and underdelivering, their goal is merely to teach in person in at least half of schools for at least one day per week.<\/p>\n \u2022Meanwhile, cancel culture grows like mold. Beloved toys and characters such as Mr. Potato Head, Dumbo, Pepe Le Pew, Peter Pan, and Speedy Gonzalez have been ostracized as \u2014 what else? \u2014 racist, sexist, and gender-binary.<\/p>\n Biden fueled this national menace by purging Dr. Seuss from the annual Read Across America Day proclamation on March 2, Seuss\u2019 birthday.<\/p>\n This reinforced Dr. Seuss Enterprises\u2019 discontinuation of six titles that previously had harmed no one. eBay then banned used copies of these volumes. This carbon-neutral book burning perfectly suits America\u2019s neo-totalitarian Left.<\/p>\n \u2022Biden launched a new Gender Policy Council. Previous presidents had recognized two genders \u2014 male and female \u2014 as the two versions of human genitalia confirm. Biden has junked this eons-old precedent. Perhaps he will embrace as many genders as does Facebook. Those 58 outnumber the playing cards in a deck and even Heinz\u2019s 57 varieties of condiments.<\/p>\n \u2022New presidents usually have led press conferences by this point. Instead, Biden has held zero such events thus far. Biden plans a presser for March 28 \u2014 Day 64 of his presidency.<\/p>\n By their first March 20, these presidents had conducted multiple solo press conferences: Trump six, Obama two, G.W. Bush three, and Clinton six. In at least 92 years, through Herbert Hoover, no president has dodged a press conference as long as Biden has.
