Covid has claimed at least 215,000 lives in India and despite being the world’s largest manufacturer of jabs, the nation is in dire need of vaccines.<\/p>\n
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said Delhi had not asked the UK for vaccines but added: “We’ll always look very carefully at any requests we’ve got.”<\/p>\n
Britain has already sent 200 ventilators, 495 oxygen concentrators and three oxygen generation units to India.<\/p>\n
Last year India sent the UK more than 11 million face masks and three million packets of paracetamol.<\/p>\n
