It wasn’t bad enough that Donald Trump hoarded White House records — including so-called “love letters” from North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un — at Mar-a-Lago. Now, the National Archives is concerned the former president brought classified material out of the White House and has consulted the Justice Department on the matter, according to The New York Times.<\/em><\/p>\n

The discovery of classified material among the reported 15 boxes of material recovered from Mar-a-Lago last month would mark yet another blatant violation of the Presidential Records Act by Trump and, should the Justice Department choose to investigate the matter, could subject the department to a politically charged situation during an era in which it is attempting to distance itself from partisanship.<\/p>\n
