New York (CNN Business)<\/cite>Most companies have reported fourth quarter earnings. The biggest takeaway for investors? This is a stock picker’s market. Some companies are thriving while their competitors are not.<\/p>\n

Just look at how Disney<\/span> (DIS<\/span>)<\/span> posted blockbuster numbers while Netflix<\/span> (NFLX<\/span>)<\/span> disappointed investors. And the recent stumbles for Facebook owner Meta Platforms<\/span> (FB<\/span>)<\/span> weren’t a sign of broader tech weakness. Google owner Alphabet<\/span> (GOOGL<\/span>)<\/span>, Apple<\/span> (AAPL<\/span>)<\/span> and Amazon<\/span> (AMZN<\/span>)<\/span> all posted extremely strong results.
