The Prime Minister promised to “protect and restore” Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed MPs continuing his appeal for a no-fly zone over the country pleading: “Please increase the pressure of sanctions against this country (Russia) and please recognise this country as a terrorist country. Please make sure that our Ukrainian skies are safe.”

Speaking on the new Marshall Plan Mr Zelensky added: “There will be a new Marshall Plan for Ukraine. The West will form this support package. The British Prime Minister said this today. A man of his word, a sincere friend of Ukraine.”
Mr Johnson is also likely to face questions following the announcement that the UK will begin phasing out the import of Russian oil and oil products by the end of the year.
