Furious anti-ULEZ motorists take the fight to Sadiq Khan in new London protest

Hundreds of motorists have launched a protest following Sadiq Khan’s decision to extend London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

The activists were seen gathered around Trafalgar Square this afternoon equipped with signs protesting the London Mayor’s controversial move, which is widely seen to have lost Labour Boris Johnson’s former seat in Uxbridge and South Ruislip.

Their signs dubbed the mayor a “liar”, and have previously made appearances in the capital, including outside the Royal Courts of Justice in late July, when ULEZ plans were ruled to be lawful.

The furious anti-ULEZ protesters were seen calling for the mayor’s resignation, with opposition to the policy having exploded in recent weeks.
